Case Study: Loretto School

The Problem:

Experiencing escalating costs from existing suppliers, Loretto decided to open the contract for tendering and, as part of this process, proposed a trial period for Trichem products.

The Solution/Outcome:

Although initial tenders were not as low as the school had hoped, the trialling of the Trichem products identified not only the quality of the products, but the increased coverage. On a payment programme which meant Loretto was invoiced not for what was delivered, but only for what was used – the monthly costs were reduced significantly.

The Testimonial:

“Trichem have been supplying Lorretto School with chemicals and disposables for the last four years. In that time, we have found them to be efficient, professional and courteous. In this economic climate, their products are cost-effective and with the added advantage of having their own manufacturing facility, chemicals can be made to specific requirements.”

Case Study: Mead Medical Services

The Problem:

Trichem’s initial contract had ended and new tenders had been invited. Trichem’s costs appeared more expensive on paper and a new supplier was selected. However, due to the reduced product quality and increased amount of product required, costs to Mead Medical Services increased significantly.

The Solution/Outcome:

The contract with the new supplier was terminated and Trichem were re-instated.  Dosing systems which monitor usage and a payment programme which means the customer only pays for what is used, means even lower monthly costs.

The Testimonial:

“Trichem Scotland Ltd have supplied Mead Medical Services Ltd now for over four years with our janitorial and associated supplies into all our six residential care home locations situated throughout Scotland, from Aberdeen to Dumfries.

We have enjoyed their geographical ability to provide an excellent level of service whether it is on a regular monthly stock replenishment basis, or an emergency call to supply, where required.

Their products are of a good quality to help us in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients together with the added back-up of invaluable advice and guidance towards thesafe handling of their product range under the COSHH regulations for all of our staff alike.

We at Mead Medical Services certainly feel that we receive a value for money supply and service from Trichem and look forward to a continuation of this partnership in the times ahead.”
